Our lab is currently recruiting participants to pilot a new computerized task that will be used in a larger study!
Participation involves completing a short computer game in our lab. In this game, you will be asked to determine if the number presented on the screen is greater than or less than 5. As you are playing, you may occasionally hear loud sounds. The session will last approximately one hour, and participants will receive $15 for their time.
If you’re interested or have questions, please complete our screener or contact our team at nhelab@pitt.edu.
In the meantime, explore our FAQs to learn more about what we do and how you can help!
Frequently Asked Questions
What will participants do in the study?
To thoroughly answer our questions, our team needs to collect a comprehensive range of data. At your session, you may be asked to complete surveys and questionnaires, play mini games on a computer, provide low volume blood samples, and receive a MRI scan. You also may be asked to have your heart rate and blood pressure recorded. Read more about our methods here!
Where are the visits taking place?
Visits will take place inside of our lab space and at the CMU-Pitt Brain Imaging Data Generation & Education (BRIDGE) Center. Both of these spaces are located in Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA.
Will I get paid?
